Well, it happened, my daggerboard decided it wanted to be free and I dropped it through the mirage drive hole (it was a day).

I had no idea that the daggerboards have been discontinued or I might have gone for a longer swim looking for it.

My main question, is there a replacement coming for the daggerboards or is the only option to make one myself? I saw on Hobie's website there is a part 795032 "Hobie Centerboard AI V2 (E)" but cannot find a photo.

I don't know the year of my AI but it is an older one (non-inflatable back rest, twist-n-stow rudder). Also, the daggerboard I lost was gray with a honeycomb like pattern and all the ones I see that are listed as discontinued are black, did I have a previous version?

Any thoughts on what to do? Surely I can't be the only one who has lost his board overboard since they've been discontinued.

If I do make one, any measurements or guides would be great, also would be open to 3D printing if anyone had a good scan.

Your AI is a pre 2015 with the loose daggerboard
This daggerboard is out of production for several years now
Maybe a small hobie dealer has one still in stock but i doubt it

To make one yourself look at you tube:
Hobie adventure dagger board diy

There might be more of those in the youtube world
I can’t help you, my AI is a 2015 which is a diffrent boat

Good luck
Peter
