Jib Leech Flutter

This has been posted some years ago, but there wasn't any satisfactory answer, so posting new.
When pointing, my jib leech flutters a lot. As there are no adjustments, is there anything I can do?
I have noticed that the jib tack is simply shacked to the halyard adjuster. The rope at top of jib is not tight, so the luff is not tight.
I'd like to shorten the top rope (raising the jib slightly and remove the lower shackle, replacing that with a short lenght of dynema, which I can use to tension the job luff.
Main Question: Does tightening the luff chage to jib shape enough to stop the leech fluttering? This did not happen on my older getaway from 2008

Now sailing 2018 getaway, new to me.

Tightening the luff is probably not going to eliminate leech flutter, but you should still tension the luff line to remove wrinkles.

Maybe add a clew plate with adjustment holes to the jib so you can adjust the sheeting angle to put more leech tension on.

Yep, you may be right, but its worth a try. Hoping for an answer from Hobie on this subject.
If no answers, then I'll put in a leech line, but I dont see why they should need it. The sail is almost new condition.

Mast rake changes the jib sheeting angle. Moving the mast a bit more forward maybe? Mast forward would tighten the leech.

Hi Matt, unfortunately adjusting the rake did not fix the job leech flutter. I have set side stays at 3rd pin from top and jib stay second from top, so only one more hole to go.
Do you have any other suggestions? Where the any issues in sail production for 2018 sails? As mentioned, my 2008 Getaway had no issues at all. I could happily change rake without flutter and that was an older hard worked sail
I have also moved the jib 25mm up the jib stay, but that doesnt fix it either.
I can add a leech line, but would rather not have to.....

Sails stretch and can flutter. Being a 2018 model... that would be the likely cause.

Leech line or a sailmaker to recut to tighten would be the answer it appears.
