Hi all,

One of my mirage drive glide tech sprockets has become very chewed up from a mix of sand and grease as have the matching roller bearings. I'm considering looking at puttin a sleeve of PTFE tubing over the sprocket shaft to replace the bearings (sleeve would be slightly smaller than diameter of bearing) as I cannot source a sprocket here in Oz as present. This would be a sort of downgrade back to pre glidetech days.

Would be interested to here if anyone has tried this or similar or if there are any reasons why this is a bad idea.

Cheers
Matt
