Wow!! What happened?? This forum used to be active, now it is dead on arrival. Is it because Matt retired and left Hobie? Even their main webpage has a big splash image of the Hobie Mirage Drive, Celebrating 20 Years of Innovation. Then right below it in the describing blurb, mentions how the introduction of the Mirage Drive in 1997 revolutionized Kayaking. Ummm, my math comes out to almost 30 years, not 20. Actually it's 29 until 2027 turns over.

Sad to see this place go so far downhill.

I suspect Matt Miller, while employed in a respected role at Hobie, largely handled the inquiries, issues, and customer service via this forum as kind of a pet project. A collateral duty, if you will, but not one that was part of his role at Hobie or in his job description. Mainly out of a love and respect for the product and its devoted customers. Hobie, who will probably never admit it, lost a huge asset when Matt Miller left, in my opinion.
