I have a $25 pair of neoprene 3/4 wakeboard gloves. They don't let you bend your wrist much.I'm not sure if that is good or bad for sailing, but I really like them.

I use some fingerless sailing gloves.. think I picked them up at west marine... I find that I need them the most when hoisting the main more than any other occasion... having to deal with the stupid WIRE is brutal without gloves.

Forget about the pain and ache of gloveless sailing. I've gone without all my life. Never even thought of it.

I do now, though. All the years of shearing force on my hand joints have taken their toll. Some joints are now destroyed.

Don't let this happen to YOU. You're only young once, but old age is when you have the time to play.

Latex or Nitril covered gardening gloves. $3.99 at garden center. Image

I have tried lots of gloves in my 30+ years of sailing. This is far the best for grip, ease of getting on and off, etc. Plus the price cannot be beat!

Nice! I think I may look into that gardening glove business. As soon as my gloves tear apart, I'll be sure to buy some of those. Anything cheap is good for me.

Maybe I can also buy a telescoping paint roller for my tiller extension while im at home depot.

And dont forget they have the cheapest prices on trailer parts.

That may have all sounded like sarcasm but im totally serious.
