Hi all! I have a question, I have the standart hobie battens on my H-16, how do you make the sail flater or fuller with the batten tension?

Please help.

Thanks!

Fuller? Less outhaul, less downhaul, Possibly more batten tension to "force" shape into the sail.

Flatter? Just enough batten tension to remove wrinkles, more outhaul, more downhaul.

Sooo....When do you want it fuller? When flatter?

Incidentally, hobie_acores, I'm probably the only one on this site that's ever been to the Azores - Lajes Field, Tercierra 1967, 1968. Beautiful Island in the middle of the Atlantic. I didn't sail back then. Just a lot of spearfishing & riding my motorcycle around the Island.
