I use my Oasis Tandem solo regularly and enjoy its versatility. It would be great though if I didn't have to ballast the front to keep all the hull in the water. Having to carry an extra 40kg or so up front wouldn't be necessary if I could sit further forward. After seeing the video of the tandem inflatable with the new drivewells and adjustable seats why not design a kayak that has 3 seating positions- fore and aft for tandem but with a middle seat position for solo use? If it was long and narrow like the Adventure it could be a real winner!

most of your regular tandems have a seat option for the middle. I don't think it would be possible to make a mirage tandem with the middle seat, the pedals sorta get in the way, now a 3 seater mirage might work, other than it being very long.
