Hobie 16 w/boomless main ???

The 16,s in the last three videos are not boomless

It looks like both the h16's in the Voile 07 video are boomless. It would be a great sail to use for people with little kids, or anyone for that matter. Could it possibly be a Getaway main on a 16?

those are not getaway mains. They are from Hobie Europe. I also agree there could be a market for them in the states with rec sailors! if you look close it looks like maybe a Hobie inflatable kayak on the beach at the start of the video.

I don't know Bannanahead but they look pretty good to me. I'm 60 years old 6'2'' 220lbs with a bad back and I'm gettin tired of putting my chest on the tramp every time I tack. Well, even so, I still love to sail.

It's definitely a Hobie Europe thing. My guess is that those sails (both the boomless main and the batten-less jib) are made for the resort market. Much more user friendly for the novice sailor.

Agreed, definitely a resort type Hobie.
The main is narrower, boomless, and did I see a self-furling jib?
Hobie Europe has many more variations, interesting website.

On holidays in the Caribbean, we have sailed the H15, (almost the same length as H16, self-furler jib, boomless main, high volume hulls, integrated tramp,) good training boat, will take four adults, goes well.

Always great to sail a Hobie.

Yup, that's them. good 'find'
Note the tramp is not a platform, like the H16, but integrated, sort of like the H18.
Note the self furler, and the skeg keels.
Love the capsize, I plan to use that as a training video.

I plan to play these video's back every day in January, especially when the temperature drops below minus 20.

I've sailed those Hobie 15's in Bora Bora several times (best way to see French Polynesa IMO: Club Med Bora Bora). I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Easy to sail, tough, lots of fun.
