I was wondering what sort of arrangements the HCA newsletter has with FOGH marine CAN.When I contacted them to see if they had recieved the lattest issue of the Hobie News, they informed me that they had recieved it a week ago and would be shipping it out somtime in the next week or so.It seemed pretty low on their priority list.I guess it is not a major issue, but I thought one of the purposes of this shipping method was to get the newsletter out quicker(as well as save money). If Fogh Marine is doing this service free of charge for the Hobie class, then I have no real issue. If not maybe a friendly reminder to them that some of us look forward to recieving the issue well some of the news stories are still current. And yes I know the issue is on line, but I prefer to wait and see it in hard copy, which is the reason I pay the extra money

They do it as a favor to the class - for free. It saves us an awful lot of money on postage.

Most people in the states have yet to receive their issue either due to the glacial pace of 3rd class bulk mail. As the editor, it's an annoyance that I have to deal with. I'm working on cutting down the amount of time between the time the magazine is done and when it's in people's hands, but I have no control over the US Postal Service.

Thanks for clearing that up.As they are doing it for free, I better just say thank you and be quiet.
