It's "Keoke" - my '78 had that pattern. #33556. Sold it in 1984.

I know it's nothing extraordinary, just a stock Wave, but I've sure had fun with it this summer. Because it's so simple to rig and go, I've spent more time on the water this year than anyone else in the sailing club, and more than I did in the 10 years of (previous) Interlake ownership combined. And my wife likes it better because she can be a passenger rather than a crew!

There's a guy with a big boat who is always snapping pictures while he's out on the lake, and he says he has some good ones of me in action. So far, he's only emailed me a few, and none have had the hull up very far. The winds around here have been pretty dead this summer, so a flying or lifting hull has been a rarity.

Yes, Aschaffter, it is Geist Reservoir. Do you know it? That shot is at Hobie Beach on the point of the Indianapolis Sailing Club. The low water levels have given us more of a beach than usual.

And that's a great sea-dog, Wannahobie!

Bill

That's on the wrong side of the causeway for sailboats, so I've only been there once, on a powerboat with a friend. I'm not sure I would want to live in one of those houses facing it, but I'm sure it would be entertaining!

Next time you're in town, come check out the Sailing Club. Top-notch facilities with 13 park-like acres on the water. It's mostly mono's; but let me know, and we'll get you out on a cat.

We drove into the Club and around the parking lot when we were there (looking for Hobies). Probably won't get out that way, MIL passed.

Here is my 5.2, I know it isn't a Hobie but she is still a catamaran and I think she looks pretty good with her new spinnaker.
