I've been playing this online game on the PS3 called Warhawk and getting my ass handed to me by a bunch of pre-pubesint turds. Fun game when you don't die every 20 seconds.

And yes, the boat is tucked away for the year.

When in HS I was mildly addicted to Halo 1 and 2, but when I took up sailing 2 years ago I sold the Xbox and haven't looked back. Games are fun but I felt like every time I played them I was just wasting my time.

Karl, Warhawk is awesome, but it takes some getting used to. I hate to admit it amognst all these out doorsy types here, but I do love the station and like to play every once in a while at night. And yes, age is irrelevant in that game. Alot of it depends on knowing where the weopons are and knowing the maps really well. But the game really is pretty cool, being totally online you know your playing against other people with their own strategies instead of some computer AI. What's your handle on the game? I'm borrowing my buddies ps3 until december while he is in Prague. My handle is akashiclink23.

James: It's Hobiesailor. Duh!! :D

Something happened to my account. I was up to captain, and now I'm down to airman again. Knowing the weaponary is everything. I just figured out what the binoculars are for. The bino's, land mines, and the sniper rifle have been my weapons of choice lately. All you do is die in the fricken warhawk.

When it gets cold, pretty much all I do is play playstation, sleep, and work. In order of importance.

Right on. I'll keep an eye out for you on there. Yeah, the bino's are a little hidden gem in that game that people don't seem to use often, I also always try to keep a flame thrower on me for close quarters combat. I love the warhawks, I do pretty well in them, but the controls are tricky. Staying alive means learning how to use the main booster (double tap r2) doing accurate rolls (r3), and being able to use the terrain as a "shield".

The game has had that problem with ranks before, I had my rank up real high and then it just dropped back to recruit the next day. After a few days it was returned though. They've also had problems with games being "full" even though they clearly are not. But, the game hasn't been out too long and with a game of this magnitude I expect a certain amount of glitches.

Sorry you had to put the boat away. We're still sailing down here, but it's turning pretty cold.
