Found this on the SA site. Looks like the Hobie 16 is well represented again.

Sure would be nice to have a 70+ 16 NAs in Iowa this year. You can make it happen!

I HATE the fact that the MC has had bigger turnouts at there big events. I have to listen to the MC sailors here at Clear Lake spouting off about how superior they and their boats are. Seems like a lot of money spent to go slow. The portsmouth between the MC and the 14 is close and we can beat them all day long head to head.
70 boats at Clear Lake should be easy, its the 100 number that get a bit tougher. Just remember, THIS is the CHEAPEST place you'll ever go to have a week long regatta at.
Those scow snobs can stand on their docks and watch all the action.

Madge, Only 780 miles to the Daggerless regatta in Kansas City in May. Great tune up for your 16.

From Thunder Bay to Clinton, KS (mapquest) 839 miles, 13.5 hours  we're just West of KC.

But hold on...Let's get this right, our "Frayed Knot" is the last weekend of April, not May. And much to the chagrin of many in Division 7 it is NOT the Daggerless event for 14's and 16's only(this year anyway). 2008 Daggerless is in Oklahoma City the following weekend.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

Mike, the 16 sailors of D7 & D14 will hopefully see our event a good start to the season, as there are only a handful that will sail both 16 AND 20 NACs. We're hoping for a big turnout from both of those classes. This would give both Divisions at least two 20 warmups events prior to the NACs in June.

There is no chagrin to it, we're happy as hell its a full service hobie regatta. We got 20s that need practice.

Sorry about that...John is correct and yes, the Clinton Lake regatta near Kansas City is the last weekend of April. Having a Wessels moment. Can we introduce that into the American lexicon. Wessels moment = confused, disoriented, possibly homicidal. Mork moment = senile, prone to transposition.

Don't get me involved in your craziness. You're the one who has spouted bad information; and the only person may kill is you if you don't quit (censored) with me. :x

You are not a nice man and should think about how your sarcasm hurt other people's feelings.
