I registered with HCANA online, mid november. When can I expect to receive my membership card? Does a hardcopy of Hot Line get mailed to me?

Where is the online registration? I couldn't find it on the nahca site. I am prone to being blind at times

Huh, good question. I can't find it now. I've still got the email from them confirming I registered though.

Should I be getting the charges on my Pay Pal accoutn reversed I wonder?

I also registered in November and used Pay Pal to pay. I have heard nothing and received nothing in the mail. How can we check and see if we are actually members?

Online registration isn't available at this time. I know it use to be on the site, it says coming soon on the class site. The membership is based on the calender year, not sure if those of you who joined in November got a 08 or 07 membership.

Contact your division rep and see if you are on the member list.

Please contact me if you have had trouble with your HCA Membership.
We unfortunately have had some difficulties at the end of 2007 and are working hard to get things cleaned up and straightened out. My apologies for that. If you send me an e-mail describing your problem I will make it right.
We will have a new online membership page up on the website by the end of January. The link to the old online registration has been removed.

Thanks to the vision of our Treasurer, Steve Reese, the new HCA Online Registration is now live. This is a full online database that will allow class officers to access up to date membership information online. It will also allow members to keep their information up to date by allowing them to change their info online after logging in with a user name and password.
Our new interim Membership Chair Mike Levesque is busy getting everyone who fell through the cracks back into the system.
Thank you all for your patience. As always let me know if you have any problems.

The new registration site is:

https://www.hcanamembers.com/

If you have already paid for 2008 through the old website go ahead and enter your information on the new site. Click on "pay by check" at the end of the registration process. Then send me an e-mail and I can check you off as already paid. I have a list of people who registered through the old site so no funny business.

See you on the water,
Bob

The site looks great!
Question: I sent in my registration and check by snail mail. Do I still need to register on the new site as well?

Steve,
What an incredible asset to our organization! Thanks for working through the bugs to see this into action.

I especially like that we can run our Hobie Points Regattas through this and pay online. :D

What specifically did you have a problem with?

There have been a number of updates to the system in the past couple of weeks as we identify and stamp out the bugs. Help us make it better.
