We have purchased a wooden paddle for our Wave for those days when the wind may suddenly becomes too calm... but haven't figured out a good way/place to store it on the Wave so it doesn't interefere while we're sailing.

Any ideas or pictures?

You can secure it to the center tramp lacing with two short bungees, paddle underneath so it's out of the way.

Also, you could start from the front and just "weave" the handle through the lacing.

Thanks J_, I thought about weaving the handle through the lacing at first, but figured it may be too hard on our bums/legs when having 3 or 4 people sharing the tramp... LOL But hopefully my friend will have lots of opprtunities to go out alone, in which case that may not be such a concern.

Using the bungy cords is also a good idea. Hopefully we won't have too many days with dead winds...

I keep mine bungeed under the rear lacing. It's handy, but out of the way. Occasionally, it catches a wave and splashes water forward however.

Sometimes I bungee a water cannon under there too, since you never know who you might meet on the water. (It's one of those that works like a giant hypodermic needle, and shoots about 30 to 40 feet.)
