happened in deep blue, 4 people on board. fortunately the water was warm (I live the Caribbean). nothing else to say about that :(

port hull just sheared off fore of the hull pylon.

Been there... done that.

I had a 1976 H16. I had a collision with another boat at some point and was told that I could simply pour resin in the cracks in the lips.

Bow sheared off while double trapped going upwind in a race.

Delamination issues in the rails and or deck are the likely problems.

Ouch not very pleasant.

Was informed that if you can press the sides of the hulls in, near the bow, that is a potential candidate for the bow breaking.

Is there a solution similar to the delam issue on the decks.

The solution is to buy a newer/new boat. Look at the color of the fiberglass on the broken hull. over the years, the sun will kill the resin and foam. Unfortunately, all these boat will wear out.
