Does anyone have a good way to keep their trapeze bungees from cutting into their rail rugs? I am carving out quite the grooves and have snapped a few bungees in the process.

I am thinking about adding a stainless steel bar on the outside of the pylons to run them around. Also I saw some of the newer hobies run the bungee through a grommet on the tramp. Can I add a couple of grommets without compromising the strength of the tramp?

Thanks

I'm thinking about doing this next season. Just make sure you grommet the reinforced edge. Punching a hole will obviously break the seam but if the grommet is tight maybe it won't matter.

Thanks for the link. I like the pulley system, but I don't like that it isn't race legal.

I think I am going to try the grommets this winter. I will probably take the tramp off, sew four square pieces of mesh into the tramp and tap the grommets through those as a precaution.
