I'm shocked that I can't find a part number on page 15 of the on-line catalog for a H-18 main sail in white. Tell me Hobie has made a mistake in the catalog please.

Hobie has made a mistake. The sails are still available. I just got a new jib within the last month.
Quite honestly, the Main I purchased last year was the best cut Main I have ever gotten from Hobie Cat for the 18. I don't know who is currently doing their cutting, but they are doing quite a fine job.

How can you tell the difference? I don't have enough experience to know.

One major tell tail sign of the new mains is that they seem to be bigger down the leach... I took my older sails batterns and found that they would only just fit in the newer sails i believe that the sails after 16121 seem to be a far larger cut.
The jibs seem to have more drive and a deeper belly no doubt at all that the new sails are considerably a better cut than previous hobie sails...
Thank you Hobie as now we seem to be beating alot of the Nacra 5.8's round the coarse and murdering them on yardstick makes me a very happy boy :D
