I may need to get a trapseat for a Hobie 16. Does anyone know where I can get one?

(I saw the class site at http://www.sailcda.com/Education_Clubs/ ... apseat.htm
which has some info but I had difficulty contacting. )

Just bought a Hobie convertable harness for around $200 and it worth it... you can buy a basic old style one on ebay for $50. but you get what you pay for... and sore nuts to prove it, and in a couple of summers when your sure you like hanging on the wire spring for the more expensive one. Murray's might have something but I think you really need to get the proper size but trying them on at a store

You're confused. A "Trapseat" is not a trapeze harness.

These are Trapseats:

Yuk? Ok, maybe not for racing, but looks comfy to me! Also looks like they would be great for those 'lazy' days, for kids, or for the wife who will not go out in anything without back support (speaking from experience  ). That is why I got the backrests for my Wave.
