After I had a pack leak all in my pocket once (nice smell ), I started putting them in ziploc bags. I like that case a little better though...might have to look into that!

Those plastic waterproof boxes are excellent. Some come with foam to put the more delicate items in. I used one set up like that for my camera when riding my ATV while stationed in Alaska.

I know, old topic, but anyway, rarely use the gulp stuff, but have it always with me when fishing.
tends to dry out once the package has been opened, but Hobie has a solution at hand, their "nalgene "bottle! bundle the packages and stuff them in, stays "fresh" for ages

pick one that fits in cup holders, can also be layed sideways in gunnels.

I've had gulp in one for two years and the fluid does not evaporate.

I leave all the packs upright in my seat pounch.

I usually go with a simple zip lock bag. It makes it easy to dump them back in the Alive container after I get off the water, although I think I will give the peanut butter jar thing a try.

I went up the creek last week, saw a good spot, and popped open the built-in tackle tray in my Outback and discovered the Trick Worms that I had loaded in 2 weeks before were mostly mush. So much for bass fishing. After scraping the crap out of the tray I loaded a resupply in ziplock bags.

Too soon old, too late smart.

Why not Buy the new container Berkley sells as "Gulp Alive" I found some New Penney Jerk Shad- looks like Bass or salt water assasins.Says "Recharge Baits" on the Label.
I'm gonna put all my baits in there in there mixed. the colors don't run and the juice in the container "recharges" the used baits. Found some in a new shaped container Today. not your regular jar but a flattened oval.

I got this idea from Jon S. I found the containers of gulp alive leak but these babies purchased at Kmart are locking, Watertight and preserve your gulp baits indefinately.

Did I mention they come in three sizes. The one pictured is the middle size. The smaller one fits in the mesh compartments and they will all fit through the twist and seal hatch.

GULP bait container...low -profile type ,oval- shaped,screw-capped......CUT a small " X " openining thro' the plastic membrane leaving the edges of the membrane sealed around the opening of the container...pull out a bait with pliers...re-cap the container...store below hatch....,and ........NO LEAKS SO FAR .

I've been using Gulps since they came out and have never had a problem with the packages leaking unless damaged when opening... the zip seal (just like a zip-lock baggie) seems to work fine, and for carry-over from one season to the next. The Gulp Alive containers are leak proof and last forever. Some problems are that, even though the packaging says to re-charge by putting used Gulps back in the sauce, they don't hold to the jig head as well after they've been used once, the curly-tails are pretty tender and are easily bitten off and all of them dehydrate and shrink to a hard little piece of rawhide if left out of the juice... don't ever leave one on the jig head -- they're really hard to get off. But, they are effective baits........... stinky, but effective! One other caution: some other plastics (Bass Assassin, Exude and some Fin-Ess will get all gooey if you put them in the Gulp sauce... it ain't like a lot of the other attractants. Tight lines!
