:( Yesterday I goofed putting my 16 on the trailer and have a 2 inch tear in pontoon. I have worked with fiberglass before... Do I just lightly sand area and cover with fiberglass patch or fill with a gel like goo?? :cry:

How bad is the gash? Where on the hull is it located? Is it only the outer layer of glass which is damaged, or is the gash all the way thru the foam and inner layers of glass? In the May / June issue of the HOTLINE there is an article on "Blind Hole Repairs", which might help you out.

The gash is on the inside of the right hull and is all the way thru the hull. You can see foam inside. Thanks for the tip on the article as I want to repair it soon.

PS... where do I find the HOTLINE? I haven't heard of this.
