How bad is the gash? Where on the hull is it located? Is it only the outer layer of glass which is damaged, or is the gash all the way thru the foam and inner layers of glass? In the May / June issue of the HOTLINE there is an article on "Blind Hole Repairs", which might help you out.

The gash is on the inside of the right hull and is all the way thru the hull. You can see foam inside. Thanks for the tip on the article as I want to repair it soon.
John

PS... where do I find the HOTLINE? I haven't heard of this.

BTW Mr. Buchanan,

I have really enjoyed reading the last few articles you have written on repair in the HOTLINE. Great information that would otherwise be very hard to find.
