To Sail a Hobie Cat at full tilt...
My soul is yearning, my heart is filt,
with love of the humming of the wires in the wind,
Not a day goes by that I don't dream of it again...
I pray that soon God blesses me with time to launch my Cat,
and get it out of the stinking attic where its currently at,
To be free again and sailing with a hull in the air...
This is surely one of God's greatest experiences, truly without compare...
I can't wait to share the experience with all of my willing friends,
And show them that where motors stop, life just begins,
So take a newbie sailing out on a windy day,
And convert another lost soul to the joy of a Hobie day.

I couldn't resist penning out a little poetry for one of the new loves of my life...
John

FLIPIT. I've probably already asked, but what part of NC are you in?

If you are close to Currituck come on down to Bells Island. Several hobies there every weekend

I am located in middle western NC on Kerr Scott Resevoir. A small dam controlled lake about 4 miles long and average of couple hundred yards wide. Two ends are much more open with room to sail, skinny section is learn to tack here area. Not greatest lake for sailing but beautiful and serene.

I would love to come down that way but got a house I am remodeling to sell and could take a few more months. Haven't even rigged the Hobie yet, AAARRGGHH!! Fly a hull for me meantime.

Sorry, missed the Duck cup. Don't really have time as I am remodeling my house to sell. Hobie still in attic. My patience with the remodeling is wearing thin. HA!
