I told PA Hillbilly at the Jax Kayak Fishing Classic that I wish I could get a Pro Angler in orange. He looked at me Like I lost my mind and asked why. I said it's my color! My dealer came through and made it happen! I even caught a small bass on the shakedown cruise. Man I love This Boat! Thanks Hobie!!!

Me breaking in the new boat on the shakedown cruise. It may be a small bass but at least I wasn't skunked on the first trip out.

Nice little bass

Yes I could hold it out farther (if my arms were longer lol)

yes we've got one of those orange boats too, knew someone would be wanting one around here. I wish Hobie would bring back the orange, we did some special orders to get a few boats in stock in orange but they will not last long.

That is a good lookin' kayak!! I am thinking of getting one for the Texas Coast and am trying to imagine myself sitting where you are to get size reference. Would you mind telling me your height and weight. I think you're a good bit taller than I. I'm 5'6" and 165 pounds. I'm betting you are 6'2" to 6'4" and around 220 to 230 pounds. How far off am I?

Thanks!!

Ray

I'm 6'2" 130lbs. Pretty good guess! Got out again yesterday and racked up some small bass. I also couldn't keep the gators off my Bongo minnow! (you should of heard them calling for momma while I was trying to release them.) As you can see my fishing friend, Burt, borrowed my outback and caught the biggest fish! She weighed in at 7 a 3/4 lbs. ( he can get his own boat if he keeps that up! lol)

Orange is a killer color, my other two Hobies are orange; I'm jealous now. I was told specific colors that were available, this is a surprise to me. Very visable on the water, you're a lucky man. Great pics, and good luck with the new ride.MJ.

We had an orange PA as well - special order. Orange is my favorite color but being on the team meant my orange Revo was denied. Bummer! Bring back the orange!
:D

First I wasn't really fishing for gators, but I kept catching the gators and the bass on a Bonga Minnow in Amber Fashion

the Bonga Minnow is fast becoming my go to top water. Trow it up in a hole in the pads or weeds and gently pop it with a little slack in your line. You can get it to swim and bob in circles. Bass kill it! As well as, gators too I guess
