Nobody measures their mast angle because that's not what's important. Certainly without the jib, the mast will lean back at a crazy angle because of the slack forestay.
With the boat rigged (main and jib) on the beach, sheet in the main. Do the blocks come together easily? (too much rake) Or do you have to really crank the mainsheet that last foot or two to get them to touch? (just about right).
That's what's important - the ability to sheet the main in all the way and still get enough leech tension in the sail.
