Hi guys, I am a hobie 16 and 14 sailor , ( own each one), and have partially converted my 78 H-14 to a turbo, with mostly gifted parts. ( hobie furler, turbo bridle, turbo jib, upper forestay/pigtail, jib blocks, etc.) The main question I have so far, is how do I rake the H-14 turbo, to get the 57" of rake, that is recommended by the Bob Curry tuning guide? I tried adding a 7 hole chainplate on top of the sail, below the upper pigtail. I got a little too much rake , doing that? Any ideas, on what a 150 lb skipper, should run the mast rake at? How tight is the shrouds, typically?? ( Bob Curry method uses a weight attached to the main halyard, on a level boat, measured behind the mast) Hey Matt, was nice to meet you at the H-16 N/A championships. ( I was crew on a pal of mine's boat there) ( what a blast!) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Garry
