Questionable Workmanship - Seat Scupper Leaking

Anyone ever run into this issue? This is one of the seat scruppers on my replacement Revo hull. The scrupper plug leaks no matter how much I tighten it. Appears that the hole was repaired after the molding process. What you see is OEM. Not much fun sitting in water all day.

Is this a defect that would be covered under warranty? The inside of this hull is bone dry but the scrupper looks like it is about to give out.

Discovered I had the same problem with the scupper hole on my new Revo the first time I took it out. Two thirds of the hole had defective molding, gasket would not seal properly. Told my dealer about it and he said "come on by and pick out a new Revo." Excellent customer service from Liquid Surf & Sail in Ft Walton Beach, FL.

Scupper holes sometimes will get off center as shown during the de-molding process. This may not cause an issue where the hull would be scrapped. Having been repaired, trimmed or modified also would not be cause to scrap a hull if the function is still correct. A blem credit might be in order, but if leaking... that's not right. See your dealer.
