"Isn't Life Strange?". You're the one who started the Moody's lyrics.

When the white eagle of the North is flying overhead
And the browns reds and golds of autumn are lying (in the gutter)dead-
remember then the summer birds with wings of fire flamming-
come to witness springs new hope
born of wings decaying
as new life will come with death-
love will come with leisure-
love of love
love of life-and giving without measure -
gives in return the wondrous yearn for promise
almost seen.
live hand and hand and together
we`ll stand
"On The Threshold Of A Dream"
I may have not got all that correctly from memory but its the thought that counts :)
I memorized all their stuff.Every lyric of every song. Aside from King Crimson...
There is only one band I`d place above the Moodies. Genesis.

Isn't love strange
A word we arrange
With no thought or care
Maker of despair
Each breath that we breathe
With love we must weave
To make us as one
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -

Bastard-you got me-anyway-speaking of music...
Here`s one for you.(and you`ll forgive the pun)

"An Island In The Darkness".
Tony Bank`s epic solo masterpiece.

Tony wrote all of the Genesis stuff with Rutherford

An Island In The Darkness-Tony Banks(Genesis solo project)

Like a fuse to the end will burn

Like a wave when the tide has turned
You keep on coming regardless
You wont accept defeat

And in the light of the cold grey dawn
When all seemed lost and you felt so forlorn

You sensed a warmth surround you
And now you find you`re
No longer on your own.

It`s impossible unbelievable news.
It`s impossible but it`s true.

You never thought you would ever be here.
You never even dared to hope you would ever be here.
In a world you used to dream of.
And watch from afar.

After all of the time gone by.
Searching fruitlessly asking why.
Its hard to stop the trying.
To truly realise.

That all the pain all thats gone before.
Lies behind and you can close the door.
In the past forever.
No need to worry.
No fear at all...

In every minute of every hour so many dreams die.
Do you believe it will be any different this time.
This dream will last forever.
This day will never end?

Now the fog surrounds you.
Swirling all about you.
Confusing all your senses
All you see are phantoms
Always just out of reach.
They tantalise and beckon
Seduce but without promise
You dont want to be here anymore.

Now the water rises.
It takes you where it will
You cannot chose direction
Or control the motion
And in the end you`re thrown up
On An Island In The Darkness
Nothing is familiar
Tell me are you frightened on your own
Do you have the will to carry on?

Sorry chrisj-I meant that I cant understand what you/Pirate and everyone else are talking about half the time because of the terminology used etc. And when I drink I develope a weird sense of humor that only I laugh at.
But it didnt come out right and wasn`t funny. I sincerely apologize.

Well don't apologise Aledal. I for one think you've always been funny and most especially when it comes to your handles...Pirate :D

Oh..well...you know how much we all value your o-PIN-ion Pirate!

Anyway-those ol square handles were supposed to set new standards in nautical design but they backfired. While not being as uncomfortable as they look...I think... in the final analysis... it was mostly a wind resistance problem. I have my top engineers & terminologists working on it. Expect a new design by 2012.

At ALEDAL Corporation we have a slogan...
"We think we are! Therefore we are! (we think :? )"

I thought Kayaking Bob would include this one, when he mentioned the other CSN song:
- Southern Cross - Crosby Stills & Nash (Daylight Again album) - a BIG favorite of mine

And, all these great Gordon Lightfoot classics:
- Ghosts of Cape Horn
- Seven Island Suite
- Sea of Tranquility
- Ballad of Yarmouth Castle
- Christian Island
- High and Dry

Thanks TMB-never heard those before and I hope I can just download them onto my i pod.
I gave up typing songs onto my list because the window dips down and dissappears as soon as you hit the shift or space button so it takes forever to add stuff! But anyone can just read it here anyway I guess. Pleasant sailing!! :D

Chrisj? I want one of those cool pictures like you have. Im going to figure out how to add my paintings to this websight while I m on vacation for a month. :D

Step one: Go for a sail with Stringy, the taker of cool on-the-water photos.
Every picture tells a story, don't it?

You`ll have to ask Rod Steward(sp) that question.

Perhaps everything is just a "Question Of Balance'?
How do you spell...
i before e except after c as in wierd?
And it all leads back to my original "Balancing Act" post. :D

I swear
