What a wonderfull forum I rebuilt a 76 Hobbie 16 with a lot of help from this forum. This is my 2nd year sailing .Having a blast.Paid a thousand for the Boat, put a thousand in to it,Had at least five thousand dollars worth of fun on this boat. Now that,s value. Fixed a delam problem on top one hull. I;ve been blown over at least a dozen times and now have a delam situation inside one hull.[about 10 inches wide , 18 in. in lenth front to back just behind front pylon.Had heavy crew help rite boat couple of times .I,m thinking that,s what happened. Just wondering if foam would bag down away from outer layer if I layed hull on benches and used get rot. Has anyone fixed a problem this size this area.
Also bottom edge of jib lufts continually even when sheeted in tight ,is this a big deal performance wise.

The area won't slump away, so place on its side and do the Git Rot as described.
