Totally into going to LHC. I'm on it.

My good friend used to live there for yrs so I'm pretty familiar with the whole scene. Add cat racing and it can't get much better than that.

If I bring the H18 I'll be solo because my brother will be in Wash DC. I'm still undecided if I'll bring that or my 22' cuddy I/O for booze cruise and a photo boat. I'm leaning toward the power boat since there will be plenty of cats there.

Rick, I'm the Principal Race Officer for the Lake Havasu event - I'll send you an e-mail to get you on the program for the support boats. We'll need ~ 15 mark/safety/photo boats on the water each day. We'll cover your gas, feed you lunch everyday and you'll get a food/party package just like the competitors. Let me know if you can commit to being there for 6 days (Sunday-Friday).

Congratulations on Solo Mast Lift at 51, I take my Hat of to you. I have lifted my mast on a very rare occasion and its Heavy and can be potentially dangerous, i once made the mistake of letting it down with rope that Could stretch and when it was almost down it started building up speed, i nearly lost the mast.Put a winch on and winch your mast up using the Trapeze wires and the other 2 trapeze wires, tie them to the front crossbar to eliminate the mast swaying,You can winch up in safety and take your time,Making sure that all your Trapeze wires are in good shape. Have fun it's a great sport with no lack of water.
