Well I had to put my Hobie away for the year :( Its always so sad to see it sitting in the garage instead of leaping off the waves but we are going to have snow soon. Anyway the form will keep me going until the long weekend in May of 2010. :P

Here I sat yet another weekend with very little wind. It seems as though every weekend for at least the past 2 months the wind is too light to sail. Its really typical for daytime in July or August in northeast Texas.....very hot and very little wind. I watch the forecast expecting to see at least one day with some wind, but it is always 5 - 10 and most often at the lower end of that scale. I gaze out the living room window hoping to see the trees swaying only to see the leaves as limp as can be. The wind did blow around 15 for a couple of days during this week, but work just keeps me too busy. At any rate, if some of you have a little extra wind, please send it my way......and preferably during the weekend. I will be anxiously awaiting its arrival, so git off your butts!

Forty times out this year so far with most having good wind, but that might be it. Scheduled 4 days of sailing next week, but the weather may not cooperate.
