Picked my adventure up last week and found a couple of things. First when I opened the rear hatch there was a cable lying on the bottom of the hull (it was the up cable). I picked it up and placed it in the upside down pad eye on rear hatch ring where other cables were. Second raising the rudder is difficult and when raised, there is a lot of slack in the up line, it wasnt that way on my 2008. how is this adjusted and is it not hanging properly? Thanks

The latest boats use a different system for pulling the up / down lines into the hull up front where the "T" handles are. There is a bungee pulling aft on the line if you look up inside the rear of the hull. This creates small loops of slack line in the aft area of the hull. These loops are normal and should not be hung on the eyes.

Thanks Matt, it was the plastic tubing that was not hung. I adjusted the drum nut and seems to be working much better.
