I was just on the Hobie website looking for a feature length well produced DVD(1-1.5 hrs) of Hobie sailing.Does anyone know of any good Hobie/cat sailing DVD's available online?Christmas is coming.....I need to get myself a present. :lol:

Hobie's "Sharing the Wind" from the late 70's is the closest match. There has not be a full length feature like that in many years.

Sharing the wind/A moment's glory is a pretty fun video (not sure if it's available on DVD), but it is a bit dated.

Another fun DVD is the Awesome Aussie Skiffs series. It's not Hobies, but it is high performance sailing for sure. Exciting footage, good comentating, and plenty of wipe outs.

Get in touch with David Brookes.He had D.V.D's from the Hobie 16 World's in South Africa and Fiji.Both really good productions including sailing action and on shore interviews.

Hi all,Sent David an e-mail and he no longer carries that DVD.
I guess I need to get access to a helicopter,a fast boat and a HD video camera and I'll produce a DVD of Hobie's in action......now I just need a good title! :lol: :lol:
