Any sailors in the Truro/Provincetown (Cape Cod), Massachusetts area? My family and I will be vacationing there next summer and I plan to tow my Hobie Getaway out there for the week. Already have a house rented but its not on the beach. Looking for a place to beach the cat so I don't have to raise and lower the mast every day and deal with boat launches.

Thanks
Keith

Check the "Places to Sail" Topic.

There is a Google map with one entry on Cape Cod:

Chatham MA, Jackknife Cove

All on the Bay side there's nice flat beaches up in that area. The problem is launching it for the first time. Pamet landing is closest to where your staying but there's not much room to set it up. Wellfleet has a better ramp and you could rig it up in the parking lot and then launch it. However, from Wellfleet you'll have about a 15 mile downwind sail to get to Truro.
