:? Hi all can any one tell me or recomend a brand of rod holders they use on there adventure islands/ kayaks. A pic on the set up would be grate if u have them as im going to set up the AI soon having trouble on choice and most dont look like they will suport the rod im using which is 10 to 15 kg pen power stick with a bait runner reel [not that big] so hope u can help im going to be chasing tuna,mackeral large surface feeding types of fish any way hope u can all help .

Made my own from PVC pipe. But I have an outback. I used the back two rod holder "holes" and "T" and "L". Holds six rods. Good luck

I use Scotty brand clamp on locking rod holders on my PA.

Any of the RAM or Scotty rod holders that Hobie offers would be great for the application you are talking about.

I like Scotty flush mounts. I have them on both sides in front. I use to have a ram mount and it would always get in the way when trnsporting the yak. I recently just removed my old flush ones and replaced them with flush mounts that have a lock. Make sure you buy ones with lock.

I started typing and the reply got really long so I deleted it and here's pictures:
All Ram, or Hobie, except 2 Scotties in the rear which can hold a fly rod or stakeout stick, but I never use them.

As you can see, since I didn't have enough rod holders, I added 2 more on my "Table" that fits on the Sail Mast mount .... that's the red and green leashes so I know Port from Starbord... color coded carobiners the same way on the kayak's padeyes, except where I used stainless
