Any ideas where I can get a "window sticker"? I was hoping for it to be clear except just a white 'H'.

Vinyl sticks to the exterior of the window. Shown on page 38 of the catalog. Lots of options.

With some creativity and some skill using photo programs you can have any number of graphic shops make up a custom Window Vinyl.

Check out this one at :www.decaljunky.com

I have created my own because I don't like the ones Hobie currently offer. My issue was relating to trademark infringements...

I believe if you are having something made for yourself there is no issue with copywrites. The trouble starts when you are selling them to others.

That is correct. As mentioned earlier, there may be problems at the sticker place too. Some places will not reproduce a trademarked image. It's ok, cause I'll just tell them it's my own! Hopefully the person working the desk isn't a sailor.

It's not a complicated logo. Ask if you can buy some scrap bumpersticker vinyl from the shop, and cut it out with scissors. Then, you're only asking the shop to create the word "KAYAKING" or "SAILING".

I cut out my own Flying H to attach to things like the lid of my catamaran's "Parts Box" and the plastic utility crate that keeps my gloves, PFD, etc separate from my other "toy boxes". It helps to quickly identify them for me, and looks kinda nifty. I created the Flying H in whatever size I needed. I use the "official" Hobie stickers on my trailer and windows.

You only need a good pair of scissors, an Xacto knife, carbon paper (for tracing) and a bit of patience. Be sure to get the shop's best bumpersticker vinyl - some are better than others.

Very cool idea. I'll have to look into that.
