Just bought a new Quest and am wondering if anyone knows if the Wheeleez cart or mini cart will fit in the hatch. I don't like the Hobie cart as it doesn't fit inside and if I mount it behind the seat where you are suposed to store it, I think it will get in my way for dealing with diving/fishing equipment that will end up being behind it.

Hi there!

My Hobie cart fits in the Quest`s front hatch when the wheeleez wheels are taken off (QR system)

Thanks man, but is your cart the 2010 style where the the pipe is bent so the wheels flare out about 4 or so inches from the frame? When I tried it at the Kayak shop I didn't see any way to fit it in.......d

the C-Tug cart does! I'm not sure about the other 2 but can play with them and let you know if need be, I think we've got em all in stock.

Appreciate the help Brad, I really need balloon tires as I frequently go across a lot of soft sand. The wheeleez beach cart with balloon tires gets great reviews, I just don't know if it folds up small enough for the Hobie quest hatch........d

The older Hobie Trax Scupper cart (Not the Trax 2) fits in the Adventure front hatch dissembled and has sand wheels. Many dealers (at least here in Hawaii) still have them, and cheap enough that you could buy one, and buy the newest replacement wheels (now, or in the future) for the cost of the newest Trax 2 cart.

I would like a Trax 2 with the new wheels for the new TI, but if I can't easily carry it in or on the boat, then that's what I'm going to do myself.
