At the Miami Boat Show. All I can say is that I am really impressed. Rudder handles are much more substantial and "beefy."

The daggerboard is built into the hull and retracts fully into it - VERY COOL.

The aka tubes and connections are much more substantial.

The only downside is that it could be too much for one person to handle loading onto the roof of a vehicle. Other than that, it was pretty sweet.

It also has some really nice strong handles along the side.

Thanks for sharing. 8)
I think it will be a real winner despite any weight issues.

Anyone that likes to take the AI out in the rough stuff will love the tandem. It sure looks and feels extremely substantial.

I am going to have to come up with a system to get it up on the roof!

I must say that my opinion of the tandem changed pretty much instantly upon seeing it. I pretty much assumed that it wouldn't be for me, but seeing it, I want one!

$4700 though. I bought a car for that much once! I took my 2000 Audi A8 to carmax recently just for kicks, and they offered me $3,000! I wouldn't even be able to trade in my luxury performance sedan for a Tandem!

Your picture on the facebook page looks like the sail goes higher then in this video below. I like the sail curling up higher over the heads of the crew.

That's one long batten!

Looks to me like the heavier person should sit forward.

I assume this is a centerboard, not a dagger. Does it have a flap to close the slot when the board is down?
