So I'm sailing along today having a great time. Hear and feel a pop, look up and see my sail down about a foot. I then pull onto the beach and try to rehook halyard ring. Wont hook,
back up to take a look, no hook. It pulled off the mast. So then I pulled as tight as I could and cleated off, so I could sail back. Anyways it's on an all aluminium mast and they dont make that part anymore. I have a friend that can make me one out of stainless.
Does anybody have a picture and dimensions of one.

Thanks, Sam

Ask around. I'm sure someone has a hook off a old broken mast somewhere. Or I'll look in a few weeks at mine on my all aluminum mast and measure it up for you when I take it down from under my deck. Drop me a line if you need the information in a few weeks.
