Just purchased an Oasis! The dealer recommended the MakoAero saddles for transporting the kayak. When they loaded it on to my car for the first time it was mounted right side up. From looking at the posts in this forum, seems like most are mounting them upside down. Looking for confirmation on which is best.

Any help is appreciated.

I have a trailer with saddles and use the upright position on the saddles. If I use the bars on the car then upside down is the best way to go.

Thanks for the info. I have been running around with the Kayaks on the roof all weekend and have found the upsidedown mounting to be very secure.
