After we had our warming up for 2016 at the London Boat Show in the United Kingdom the world largest watersports trade fair started at the 23th of January called Boot 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany. A fair with 17 halls full of all boats, equipment, clothing and everything else you can think of you will need for this years season!
For this year’s edition we had a total of three booths to show our kayaks. In the equipment and accessories hall we showed a great range of the 2016 models and the brand new i11S and i14T. The PA17 and the PA12 where both rigged up in full fishing mode to show their possibilities! A great opportunity with the Fishing World just around the corner! During the whole week we had a lots of visitors and both off the weekend we needed all hands on deck!
In the Sailing & Cat hall we had two more stands where we showed a great looking Hobie Adventure Island. Secondly we also showed one of the Hobie Tandem Islands from the Danish family who sailed from Copenhagen to Istanbul. Next to his Island we had Lars Simonsen to share his experiences of his trip during the daily talks at the booth. Besides those daily talks Lars told about his trip on the big stage at the Multihull Forum. During all his talks on stage there were no empty seats and a loud applause and the end of the talk!
It has been a great success and we made new friends/believers to the Hobie family. A special thanks towards Dan Mangus for visiting us during the exhibition, to our Dealer Catawest for all the hard work and last but certainly not least to Lars for all his enthusiasm!
