Few things:
1. The jib rigging is a joke. Why not just put a standard halyard on the darn thing?
2. I think the very front x-bar for the forward tramp is a hinderance. It's prob there for hull support more than anything else, but it is a wave catcher.
3. Weight... it's not easy moving it around on a beach by yourself. Hopefully you have friends.
4. Every boat should have an adjustable downhaul. A hook, two pulleys and a swivel block is what I've installed on the majority of these.
But overall, the Getaway is great for what it is, a recreational catamaran.
