The Getaway, Hobie’s most social sailing catamaran, is newly redesigned for 2017. Its rotomolded polyethylene hulls feature reverse bows and an additional six inches of length, accentuating the Getaway’s playful performance.

Other enhancements to this capable catamaran include an accent chine, new graphics and a molded-in rear carrying handle. Like the rest of Hobie’s rotomolded sailing fleet, the Getaway’s bold look is inspired by new Martinique themed sails of chartreuse, white and orange.

This versatile family pleaser can carry up to six sailors on its spacious nets and optional wing seats. Enjoy impromptu picnic lunches, multi-boat raft-ups, and learn-to sail sessions.

Features include positively buoyant hulls with integrated keels that eliminate the need for daggerboards. The EZ Loc rudder system simplifies rudder operation. The fully-battened, boomless mainsail features a high-cut foot for easy tacks and gybes and ample visibility.
