Newport Sail Coastal Sail and Potluck

:00am – Arrive to set up Hobie Islands and review shore-side topics and the days itinerary. 11:00-3:30 – Sail out of the Newport Harbor to Crystal Cove, stopping by the Harbor Patrol Station for a bathroom break 3:30pm – Return to launch site for potluck 4:30pm Breakdown and put away all sailing gear and boats.

THINGS TO BRING: * Dress for cold weather and water. Temps could be in the 50’s (Dry pants or wetsuits, warm paddling jackets are a must! *Food, water, snacks for sail, out in water for about 4 hours. *Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat *Kayak cart to haul boat to/from beach (if you don’t have see Southwind for details. **EVENT WILL BE POTLUCK – so bring food for everyone to share – this would be appreciated.
