Newport Beach Coastal Sail & Potluck! LOCATION: North Star Beach, Newport Beach CALIF 92660 WHEN: Saturday, April 5th, 2013 from 10am-4:30pm Our proposed itinerary for the day: 10am: Meet at launch site (North Star Beach, Back Bay), set up Islands and go over shore side topics. We are having a potluck, so food will be available! 11-3:00pm: Sail out of the harbor to Crystal Cove, stopping by at the Harbor Patrol Station for a bathroom break 3:30pm: Return to launch site 4:30pm: Breakdown and put away equipment. Things to bring: -Dress for cold weather! We will be venturing out of the harbor. Dry pants or wetsuits, warm paddling jackets will be a must! -Food and water for the sail, we will be out on the water for about 4 hours -Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen -Wheels are highly recommended for the launch -Event will be a potluck, so bringing food for everyone would be much appreciated!
