2022 Rey Del Mar Inshore/Offshore Kayak Fishing Tournament

Here we go again! Texas’ ONLY inshore/offshore kayak fishing tournament is back and better than ever! Mark your calendar for Fin Factory’s 2022 Rey Del Mar Inshore/Offshore Kayak Fishing Tournament.

This tournament is your chance to claim the titles held by only the most elite kayak anglers in Texas: Rey Del Playa (offshore), Rey Del Bahia (inshore) and the King of them all Rey Del Mar (overall)

How do you take home a trophy?

Rey Del Playa (offshore)
Total weight scored 5 fish max, 1each (king, cobia, spanish mac, snapper, grouper)

Rey Del Bahia (inshore)
Two heaviest game fish, in aggregate, in any combination red fish / trout / flounder.
This portion is a live weigh in and a 1/2 lb. will be deducted for dead fish

Rey Del Mar (overall)
will be determined on a points system. Each participant will be awarded the number of points for the position placed in each portion of the tournament. These two numbers will be added together and the angler with the lowest score takes the title. Ties in this overall category will be broken first by aggregate weight, then length if necessary.

What are the prizes?

The right to wear the crown and call yourself a Fin Factory Rey/Reina but that’s not all, you also have the opportunity to take home one of three Kayaks, some serious $$$, and top of the line kayak equipment and electronics.
