How do I return my purchase?

How do I return items without an order number?

Does Hobie offer exchanges?
If you would like to exchange your purchase for a new size or color, please contact our Customer Service team at orders@hobie.com. All returns and exchanges must be made directly with Hobie.com and cannot be processed in store. Only items purchased on www.Hobie.com can be returned directly to Hobie Cat Company.

What is your return policy?
All online purchases are available for exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase. Refunds will be applied to your original form of payment.

Can I return items to an Independent Authorized Hobie Dealer Location?
Be advised: Authorized Hobie dealers cannot accept returns or exchanges of items purchased on hobie.com. All returns and exchanges need to be sent directly to Hobie.

How long will it take for my return to be processed?
Our goal is to process returns within 1 week of the date they arrive. There are times during the year that it may take up to 2 weeks. It may take your bank up to 7 business days to reflect the refund on your account.

How will I receive my credit?
We will credit the original form of payment. . Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase. In order to receive a refund, you must have a copy of your order confirmation.

SHIPPING INFO

When can I expect to receive my order?
Delivery times can vary depending on the shipping method selected in checkout as well as the location of the shipping address. If you selected standard shipping, it can take up to 6 business days to arrive. We do offer faster shipping options during check out.
Please note that there are factors beyond our control that can cause delays including weather, shipping holidays, and seasonality.

What do you charge for shipping?

Does Hobie.com ship internationally?
Currently, orders placed on hobie.com can only be shipped within the United States.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Our shipping partner is FedEx and unfortunately, they do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

How do I track my order?
We will email you a shipping confirmation after your order ships. Included will be a tracking number for you to track your package.

What happens if I refuse delivery?
We will charge shipments to your location as well as return shipping. This amount will be deducted from your refund.

ORDERS

How can I check my order status?
When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk folder. Upon shipping, a notification with a tracking number will be sent to you.

Can I change my order once placed?
Once an order is placed, we are unable to make any changes. If you need to cancel, please contact our Customer Service team at orders@hobie.com.

How long will it take to process my order?
We process orders Monday–Friday and ship out within 1–2 business days.

Will I be charged for the portion of my order that did not ship?
Hobie will authorize your card for the full amount of your order at checkout. However, if we are unable to fulfill any portion of your order, we will notify you by email and charge only for the portion of your order that ships. Any pending authorizations for the unfulfillable item(s) will drop from your account within 3–5 business days (depending on your bank’s processing times).

Why didn’t I receive my order confirmation or shipping confirmation email?
Anytime an order has been submitted with a valid email address, we will send out an order confirmation email. Please check your spam/junk folder if you did not receive a confirmation email within an hour. Please contact our Customer Service team at orders@hobie.com for assistance.

PAYMENT

Why are multiple transactions showing up on my bank account for one order?
There will be a pre-authorization on your account once an order is placed on hobie.com. This is a verification step that us to proceed with processing your order. We will not issue a final charge until your order has shipped. Some banks display both the final charge and the pre-authorization.. Please note that the pre-authorization hold will drop from your account within 3–5 business days.
